Mariotte’s bottle (also called “Mariotte siphon”) is a device that delivers a constant rate of flow from closed bottles (or tanks). We use it in water drop photography to keep the flow rate stable.
Mariotte bottle is the best choice to use in water drop – splash photography because keeps the drop size same until liquid is to the lower level of the tube inside bottle.
The devise is designed especially for photography and includes a Mariotte bottle and a 12V solenoid valve.
Some parts, designed and printed with 3D printer using ABS plastic. Not same finish like molded, but good quality and no problem with operation.
The bottle is big (200ml) and can release hundreds drops until needed to refill it.
Device can used in a place of any other which uses 12V for controlling solenoid.
